Stuck in the Middle with You

Yeah, I know...It's a dog in a tree. That's me...DOG....Stuck in a tree! That's how I feel right now. I've got a fair amount of work, that I'm already aware of, to get my book polished up, edited and ready for submission to agents and publishers and yet I'm waiting for still more input from my readers.

Bless their hearts, each one of them. They are doing me a great service and I love them for it, but it is difficult waiting, wondering what they are thinking. Is is a chore for them to read? Do they enjoy reading what I've created?

Time will tell...if my "A Sacrifice of Time"...is worth the Time and effort.

  1. Doug...I like your story. When you first introduced us to your Novel, I thought it was a bit wordy. However, the more you worked on it the more vibrant and alive it became. There were times when I felt as if I was walking along side Jake and Hardy as an invisible entity searching out the truth to the mystery of "A Sacrifice of Time."

  2. Love the picture, Dog! Much more descriptive than "waiting on pins and needles". For my part, it was definitely not a "chore to read" and it was so nice to get all the way through the story after so long not knowing what happens! Shows you that the building of tension and curiosity was well done and also well satisfied.

  3. For my part, waiting, waiting, waiting for my turn! Can't wait to see your product, wondering how the mysteries will be resolved, who is messing around up at that quarry, when will Jake have to put Hardy on a diet, oh so many questions...
